David Ritz’s “The Last Days of Brother Ray”
David Ritz captured the essence of who Ray Charles really was in his book. Ray Charles was ruthless and did not bite his tongue when it came to speaking his mind. Throughout “The Last Days of Brother Ray” we see the transformation that Ray Charles goes through after being diagnosed with cancer. We see the human side of Ray Charles throughout his battle with cancer. He gains more faith.
